Root Canal

Painless endodontic therapy to save infected or damaged teeth.

Overview

A root canal is necessary when the pulp inside your tooth becomes infected or inflamed due to deep decay, repeated dental procedures, or a crack/chip in the tooth. This treatment saves the tooth and eliminates pain.

Key Benefits

  • Relieves severe toothache and sensitivity
  • Saves the natural tooth from extraction
  • Prevents the spread of infection to surrounding tissues
  • Restores normal biting and chewing function

The Procedure

During a root canal, the infected pulp is carefully removed, and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and disinfected. It is then filled and sealed with a rubber-like material. Finally, the tooth is restored with a crown or filling for protection and normal function.
